Supporting the promotion of《V-POP ASIA》, she appeared on stage with her signature energy, even enjoying her favorite bubble tea in front of fans.

During the event, she warmly interacted with the audience, answering questions from both the host and fans. To aspiring VTubers, she offered heartfelt advice: the most important thing is to “stay passionate” and “maintain a positive attitude”.

Why did you want to become a VTuber?

Kson

I wanted to be cute — but without putting on makeup! (laughs)
The best thing about being a VTuber is that I can doing anything behind the screen, like eat snacks, or do whatever I want, and not worry about getting dressed up. Sometimes… I’m not even wearing pants !

But above all, the best part is 100% that being able to interact with fans — that’s what brings me the most joy.

What’s the hardest part of being a VTuber?

Kson

The hardest thing is maintaining the motivation.

Being a VTuber isn’t a 9-to-5 job — you need a lot of self-discipline to manage your own schedule. it’s all about what you have in your mind, it s all about ‘passion’. If you can keep that passion going for a long time, that alone is a real talent!

Do you have any words for aspiring VTubers?

Kson

This industry is still very new, and it’s has just come out to be something. Every single VTuber can help make it even better! And because it’s so new, it’s important to keep a positive mindset when facing all kinds of challenges.

Stay positive — not negative.

If you were a judge of the talent show, what qualities would you look for?

Kson

I would say I want to see how original they are — something I’ve never seen before. And of course, positive — lots of it. Also, I think for this audition, the ‘vocals’ will be a really important factor.

What advice would you give to new VTubers when choosing an agency?

Kson

It’s a very hard question. The one I just chose was … hmm… Just believe in yourself, be smart. Not choosing any company is also fine. Anyway, it’s very hard to answer. All I can say is… ‘hmm…’

Later, in a group media interview, vchavcha asked Kson about something we were all curious about — how she successfully balances being both a VTuber and a face-revealed creator…

You appear both as yourself and as a VTuber. How do you manage to do that?

For this question, Kson answered that she initially lacked the confidence to show her real face, feeling that she wasn’t photogenic enough. However, becoming a VTuber, she gradually overcame those insecurities.

Kson

The fans told me that they don’t care about how you look. Of course, all the VTuber fans understand there is a human being inside, like… in the background of the characters. All the fans know that, and know whoever(behind) they are, they’re gonna cheer for it — for the character, for the one who is doing everything.

This change in mindset led her to embrace her real-life identity alongside her virtual one. Positive feedback from fans — such as comments about her being able to do even more with both personas — gave her the strength to keep trying new things without fear.

Vchavcha

That’s too encouraging! Kson you’re truly a one-of-a-kind presence in the VTuber world!

《V-POP ASIA》 Global Auditions Press Conference Live Recap.

About 《V-POP ASIA》

《V-POP ASIA》 isn’t just another audition—it’s the first time a VTuber competition is being run like a full-on reality talent show. Just like the shows you’ve probably watched before, there will be professional mentors and tons of support to help selected VTubers level up their skills across the board.

According to VIVE ORIGINALS President Szu-Ming Liu, entertainment is moving more and more into the virtual world, and that includes music, films, and even what it means to be a “celebrity.” That’s exactly why this bold new project was born—to give fans a fresh kind of experience.

When Kson came to Taiwan for the press event and first heard about 《V-POP ASIA》 as a global VTuber talent show, she said she never imagined VTubers could compete for a debut spot on TV like idols do. “I know how confusing it is to start from scratch, and I really want to give future VTubers some confidence and direction,” she shared.

This call is open to anyone from Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, and other parts of Asia. Whether you’ve been a VTuber before or not, as long as you love to sing, perform, rap, or stream, and you’re over 18, you’re welcome to apply—no gender restrictions. It’s time to shine and take your first step onto the global stage.
